About us
Our research group masters reporter gene techniques with luminescence or fluorescence to track viral infections in vivo, aiming to better understand the host-microbe relationship. We study Trypanosoma vivax (responsible for bovine trypanosomosis, or sleeping sickness) and Zika, Influenza and SARS-CoV-2 viruses, among other topics.
