Members of both institutions identified opportunities for SKEMA students to pursue short and long-term internships at the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo.
On October 28, the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) received a visit from the Dean and Executive President of SKEMA Business School Alice Guilhon; and the Dean of SKEMA’s campus in Belo Horizonte Geneviève Poulingue. They were received by the Executive Director of IPSP Paola Minoprio, and by the institute’s Project Manager Gérard Chuzel. SKEMA Business School is a leading French higher education institution with six global campuses, including a unit in Brazil established in 2018. Recognized worldwide for its excellence in education and research, SKEMA shares strategic interests with IPSP that could drive future collaborations, especially in Management and Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applied to Health.
During the visit, members of both institutions identified opportunities for SKEMA students to pursue short and long-term internships at the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo, contributing to research focused on AI in the health sector. This area represents a central pillar in the research plans of both SKEMA and IPSP, which see AI as a transformative tool to overcome challenges and to advance in the health sector.
To strengthen this relationship, new meetings have been scheduled. Paola Minoprio will participate in a mission to France in November this year, while Alice Guilhon will return to Brazil in March, 2025. These meetings aim to consolidate the foundations of a partnership that promises to enrich scientific and academic exchanges between Brazil and France, promoting the advancement of artificial intelligence in health and the training of talents from both institutions.
