Association aims to promote relations between companies of both. More than 450 institutions are affiliated.
June 10, 2024 – The Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) became a member of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCIFB) on May 1st. This association aims to promote economic, commercial, industrial, scientific, and cultural relations between the two nations.
The CCIFB brings together more than 450 companies, not only from Brazil and France but also from other nationalities. In 2023, it participated in the organization of 163 events, either as the main organizer or by providing support to various entities, such as the Consulate General of France in São Paulo.
By becoming a member, the IPSP will have access to a good portion of these events, which will facilitate the development of partnerships, especially with French companies. These companies, when combining their operations, make France the third largest investor in Brazil in terms of stock and the first in number of employers.
However, this networking is not limited to companies with operations in Brazil, as the CCIFB is part of a global network that brings together 119 French chambers spread across 94 countries.
“Strengthening relationships with companies aligns with one of the missions of the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo, which is to promote innovation for the benefit of public health. We conduct cutting-edge research, in an international network, and we can carry out joint research and development projects that can generate innovative products,” highlights the executive director of the IPSP, Paola Minoprio.
In addition to participating in events, the association provides the IPSP with some benefits. These include the rental of rooms for meetings, lectures, and other events in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Rio de Janeiro, as well as a global directory with updated contacts of professionals from more than 500 companies.
